 system crashes with 2.5.5 Pro Since installing 2.5.5 Pro about a month ago, I've had regular program locks, system freeze-ups, and Blue Screen of Death problems when using LimeWire. I don't recall this happening under any prior version of LimeWire I've used (going back to 2.1.x, I think). There have been several BSOD error messages, but the most common is "fatal exception at 0028  9A498E9.The problems have occurred both when I'm multi-tasking and when running only LimeWire. I'm running Win98SE on a PIII 500 w/ 256MB RAM and more than 3 gig available on my hard drive. Any ideas?  |
