For some reason, every time I try to start LW, after a little while (usually after I connect to a server or two) my computer tells me that the program performed an illegal operation, and shuts LW down. I've tried re-installing, etc, but nothing seems to work!
Can you guys give me a hint? I may be forced to use *gasp* audio galaxy if this doesn't work! lol... thanks, 5not 5kull |

I'm having the very same problem with LimeWire. It recently appeared with 1.4b after working fine for weeks. I uninstalled 1.4b and tried 1.4 and it does it too. I am using Windows ME and have a cable modem.

I was having this problem for a few days now.
I read in one of thje other forums about installing ad-ware. This removes spyware components on your system and someone advised to run this and then Limewire should run fine. I did it and it worked after taking something like 60+ items off my PC. |
