Why won't LW allow me to designate "C:\My Music" as my Save Directory? I get the following message: "Invalid directory for saving files. Please use another directory or revert to the default." The same thing happens with any folder I try to designate. What's going on? I'm using 2.7.3 Pro.
Thanks |

Do you share the directory you want to use? I had the same problem on my machine yesterday and then tried a directory which isn't shared.
Good luck ;-) Gerhard |

Hi:
I had the same problem on an earlier version of Limewire with XP. I finally deleted and recreated the directory. Limewire then recognized it. If you try this be sure you move any contents to a safe place first, then if this resolves your problem you can move it back. Good Luck, Norm |

I cannot set the save directory to my D:\My Music. It looks like this is a common problem thats been around for a while. If you are saying that the workaround is to recreate the folder then that is pretty lame. I have 6 gigs of data in that folder. It's a bug, so fix it. Until you do I certainly won't be buying pro.
