Is a back-leveled version of LimeWire available?
My brother has been losing his connection while running LimeWire 2.8.5. His ISP is AOL and he has Windows XP installed. Is there a place from which he can download an earlier version of LimeWire (2.6 or later)?
By the way, I'm running LimeWire 2.5.5 and haven't had any problems. Thanks very much.

Yes, it seems 2.8.5 is very buggy. I am struggling with it on XP too. To roll back go here and select your version - http://www9.limewire.com:82/download/ Good luck, Norm
