"upgraded" to 2.8.5 and downgraded from PRO to Basic..
Okay, now I'm futzed..
I HAD LimeWire PRO, 2.5.x (I can never keep track), but when I started it up today, it informed me that I needed to upgrade to 2.8.x, and it led me to the download page. I couldn't select a version of PRO for which I didn't have to pay again, so I downloaded Basic because I figured that it was a trigger affair. WRONG! Now I have LW 2.8.x Basic instead of PRO. How can I get my PRO back? Thoughts, canters and anecdotes welcome.

Provided you purchased PRO within the last 6 months, you can go here and enter the email adress used when you originally purchased LimeWire. You'll be taken to your personal PRO download page.
