I was downloading two songs earlier today and a message kept popping up asking for a user name and password. I just ignored it, and left my computer after about ten minutes for a few hours. When I returned, my songs were downloaded and played fine so I logged off. When I came back later, I tried to transfer the MP3s to my Window's Media Player, only they weren't there. I looked in my shared file, my incomplete file, my library, there was nothing. When I tried to play MP3s already stored in my media player, they wouldn't play, and don't seem to exsist. There are about thirty songs in one list, and starting from top to bottom, it will only play the four songs through-out the list that are not from Limewire. What happened to my files??

I've had limewire pro for a very long time. Recently an entire subfolder in the shared directory decided to dissappear. It was there at least five days ago but now it's gone. I've done numerous searches for the folder and the files it contained but it's all gone.
\ And what is up with all these "please enter user name and password" pop-ups. They are non-stop while running limewire now. |
