 Just a hypothesis... I'm going to posit that there's a problem accepting incoming connections on Win98 systems. I need help testing this hypothesis. ScrappyDoo and others with the Win98 crash problem: try "firewalling" yourself by forcing your IP to 0.0.0.0 from the Advanced options menu. Let me know if you still get crashes. Note that setting your port won't prevent people from connecting to you, but it does prevent LW from giving out your address during host discovery.
