Hi all,
Ok, installed it a few minutes ago, and I go to run it, and it complains it can't find "Limewire.exe". It seems it just didn't install that file. Any suggestions? Alec Munro |

LimeWire.exe does not exist, and never has. Look at the shortcut that you use to run LimeWire. Open properties, then shortcut, then change the target to "name of javafolder\JRE\1.3.1\bin\javaw.exe -cp . RunLime The default folder that Windows uses for installing Java is (exactly)="C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.3.1\bin\javaw.exe" -cp . RunLime You will probably have questions, as I can think of many circumstances where this exact method will not work. Kirby |

Ok, so the first time I installed it, I ran the shortcut on the desktop, and it gave the aforementioned error. I reinstalled it, but I was watching for limewire.exe to appear, so I didn't notice that the shortcut had already been changed to the one you suggested. Thanks anyway.
