when i choose to install LimeWire onto my E: partition it gets to:

and then gives me a message that i have run out of space on my C: drive. apparantly, it tries to install the javaw.exe file and related stuff onto my C: partition even though i have specified for it to install everything onto my E: partition. why is this? can't you make everything install onto the same partition?

All installshield installers require temporary hard drive space, which usually defaults to your C: drive. Set the TEMP environment variable in CONFIG.SYS or AUTOEXEC.BAT to a directory on another drive.

If LW's not working for you then please...look through the various sections of the LW forum, find the appropriate section (installation, connection, download/upload etc etc) & post your question. Tell us exactly what your problem is (describe it in detail) & someone has a chance of being able to help you
