i downloaded the java runtime enviroment and the same thing still pops up. Is there any way i can like copy all of my downloads and put them in a new folder and then reinstall limewire and just start fresh on the downloads but keep my other downloads? plzzzz some1 help me.

Salut, look into -programs files-limewire-shared (if your files aren't there, you won't delete them if you desinstall then reinstall LW, this means your shared files are elsewhere --- you can do a search in windows with the .mp3 suffix to find them).

they r in the shared folder but if i copy them and paste them somewhere else will i still be able to use them if i reinstall limewire? like would i have to copy them back into the the new shared folder that i would get when i redownload limewire???
