Default WinXP crashes when I change "Save" directory

If go into "Options" and try to change the default Save Directory from "C:\Documents and Settings\Shared" to "F:\Limewire Downloads" my PC immediately crashes and reboots itself.

Does anyone know how I can fix this (other than by accepting the default Save directory)? My apologies if this issue has been raised before but I did a search but couldn't find it.

I am running Windows XP with SP1 installed and the latest (3.8.10) version of Limewire.

Yes, to both questions, Peerless.
