Blank Limewire?

I can get Limewire to open, but everything inside it is just gray. I cannot see anything, but I can click on things(I can tell I am clicking on things because the title bar changes) I have tried everything, uninstalling and reinstalling, 3 different versions, different Java Environments and I just get the same problems over and over. I have Windows XP SP2 if that is a problem---I never wanted it, and had my auto-update off, but I come to my comp and look at add-remove and there is sp2....F***ing microsoft. My vid card is an Asus 9800Pro if you want to know. Does anyone have an idea of what the problem is?

I think I found the solution to the problem....and it had nothing to do w/ sp2.....I turned many of my video card settings(AA, text detail etc.) to application preference instead of always on.....and walah...It works!
