I am a university student living in a dorm who has just downloaded the latest version of LimeWire (v.4.0.8, or whatever it is) from the LimeWire website. My problem is that when I open up LimeWire and it automatically attempts to connect, it never makes it past the "Connecting" stage.

It tells me that it is Connecting... but then after quite a length of time it finally just gives up and disconnects. I've got no idea what the problem is and, surprisingly, there is nothing on the subject on the LimeWire FAQ. If anyone here can help me out, please do.

I don't experience this problem with p2p programs like Kazaa (though I did have a similar problem with BearShare).

(BTW, I allready tried re-downloading, re-installing, and all things of that nature)
