Lord of the Rings has a distinguished reputation

Please supply more details such as os version, any update additions, LW version, Java version, ram amount, connection type, firewall/routers, etc. It is very important to know exactly what message you're receiving. It will probably have an error no.#. My 1st guess would be to trash your LW prefs, failing that to reinstall whilst also updating to the most recent Java version (extremely important.)
