Hi, I recently got my laptop and no matter what i do i cant get limewire past my firewall to even connect. Is it just not for laptops? Or is there a better version suited for me, any advice will be helpfull. Thanks

Check the computer softw firewall config, the modem/router UPnP or Manual port forward sections, & run the tests in the early points to see what you need to do. See Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link)

I have Limewire downloaded on my laptop and at first it wouldn't connect but then I configured the Firewall on my Norton program and it worked. Try that and let me know. Only if yiu have Norton, or maybe you have something else.
