How can i rename files inside of V 4.2.2 or how can I rename in my library folder without limewire losing the location of a file?

There's currently no way to do this within LimeWire. You can do it outside of LimeWire and then click 'refresh' in the library to have LimeWire recognize the new name.

But if you're 'still' dwnlding the file, probably best to wait until it's completed dwnlding. I read another post where renaming a presently dwnlding file mucked up the hashing of the file when using the new LW 4.2. Correct me if I'm wrong anybody.
