cpu bandwidth limit
I just started using limewire myself and have had the same problem and just posted not seeing this post.
One thing I did was when in task manager and under Processes I right clicked on limewire and and went to set priorty and choose below normal. So far my computer acts as normal now. Don't know if this a long time solution. ekih
