My problem was obviously different. My 19" monitor is set to 1024 x 697 (mac set to 1024 x 768.) My preferences were obviously mucked up ... so that's why my solution only worked for me.

LW Screen Size
Dear rcanham
Installing LW Pro 4.4.4 sorted out the size problem for me, LW now sizes itself correctly on my screen and now, for the first time ever, I can see the LW media player control buttons. UK Bob
