I've been using limewire for a while, and one day for some reason after the loading window .. limewire appeared on my taskbar..but when i pressed on it it wouldnt maximise like normal..if i right click - closed it..it would minimize into the system tray..everything would seem normal..except that i couldnt see limewire maximised..so then i tried one of the other windows users accounts on the computer..and limewire worked like normal..
i tried reinstalling and using a newer version of limewire..and it still didnt work for me..but for other users .. help ? =]

Did you try deleting your user LW Preferences folder? Instructions here: Fixes for Limewire

Ahh...thanks alot, i think it had something to do with the .limewire folder..because without the admin and windows 2000 settings..it worked..=] thanks alot
