Unhappy Blocked internet connection!!

Hi, i have noticed a little pattern when using limewire.

Whenever i start to download something substancial like a game or a film (anything over about 100Mb), all the other pc's on my wireless network cant access the internet. All they get is the "this page cannot be displayed" error. And whats more, if i close limewire and even shut down my pc, the internet is still unavailable across the network. To get it back i have to login to the router and do a software reboot which takes about 5 mins. Throughout the whole thing Limewire still works perfectly.

Is this something that is built in to limewire, that when a large file is downloaded it blocks the internet. If so then please notify me so i can switch back to using BitTorrent and kazaa.

Any info or assistance is greatly appreciated...... Thanks

Dave.

Default I Have the Same Problem...

we just got Wireless cable through Comcast, previously we just had a standard cable modem through them as well, but never had this problem. Although, It doesn't seem to matter content or size being downloaded, it running Limewire at all that causes the rest of the network to "Crash" and too, Limewire runs just fine. I unplug the router and plug it back in, but having to do it 5 and 6 times a day is rediculous!! I too would appreciate any information or suggestions to correct this problem. The tech from Comcast couldn't figure it out and nobody he seemed to call for help could give an explanation or a solution. thanks!!
