Try a couple of things. Make a note of your option settings then delete LW's preferences folder. Instructions here: Fixes for Limewire

Set LW for manual connect. Tools>Options>Connections & untick option box. Press Apply. Then close LW.

Then open LW, let it sit for 10 mins, then go to LW's menu File>select Connect. Try this for a while & give it some time.
