.LimeWire folder (help)

In most of the threads ive read, ive seen that many people are being told to delete the .limewire preferences folder, i was wondering if the prefs. are the ones when i open up L/W and go to options,

im asking becasue recently my d.l's are crap, and i wanted to try this, but wasnt sure what prefs. it were i would be deleting

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire Sometimes this file can become corrupt so deleting it can fix things.

but im asking is that folder the preds when i open l/w and go to options?

Yes all the option settings are stored in that preferences folder. It has no effect on your downld preferences & partially downlded files!!! SO once deleted you will need to reset them as the link suggests.
