LimeWire Pro Won't Start

*I posted this in the Installation Section, but this seems to be a more appropriate section. Sorry for the duplicate*

After trying the free version, my wife and I decided to purchase the PRO version. I uninstalled the free version and installed the PRO version.

However, after installing the PRO version, I can't seem to start LimeWire.

Under the Task Manager Processes, I can see Limewire.exe but I can't see the application running. I tried reinstalling in safe mode and normal mode and it still won't work. I did the same again for the free version but it didn't work either. Each time, I deleted the .limewire folder and reinstalled the latest Java . However, I seem to be able to launch the program in Safe Mode. Back in normal mode, I disabled all my AV and Firewall but I still can't get the application to start. During this time, Limewire.exe will be in the Task Manager processes.

I copied the file to my office notebook and tried installing it and it worked fine. It seems like it has something to do with my home computer.

Can you please advice me on how I can resolve this issue? We were happily using Limewire until this happened.

Thanks in advance for any advice

Unfortunately that didn't help. Each time before reinstalling, I delete the .limewire folder under C:\Documents and Setting\user.....I also tried reinstalling Java a couple of times and that didnt help.

Does anyone know what I can do to get Limewire working again?

Thanks

I found out what my problem was. I had a SplashScreen killer installed and this somehow prevented Limewire to start.

But thanks for all the previous advice!
