Question Error Message

Whenever I start LimeWire I get the following error.

''LimeWire was unable to write a necessary file as you do not have the necessary permissions. Your prefrences may not be maintained next time you start LimeWire, or LimeWire may behave in unexpected ways.''

I can click Ok and still download things, but I cant change any options. Anyone know why I am getting this error and how I can fix it? I've tried reinstalling but that didn't work and I'm on 4.8.1. I also have an admin account on my computer.

Please help!

I would recheck your admin options & what you have permissions to do. You may need to extend your permissions. Either that or you've installed in such a way the system doesn't like it. You could try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire
