Oppenhiemer is flying high

Hi -

I also have the same problem. I Used to use Limewire years ago - but have been mostly using Kazaa Lite Resurection recently.

I have found that the slow-down seems to be related to how many people are downloading from you.

I have a 2MB ADSL connection (so still got the crippliing 256k upload restriction!) And I have Ultrapeer disabled - but this makes no difference to performance.

Even though the people downloading from me only seem to be doing so at a slow speed (8kb ?) it still hammers my internet performance.

I can only imagine that LimeWire aint too good at prioritising and managing new threads (program threads here.)

Any clues ?

Cheers..

Opp.
