Lord of the Rings has a distinguished reputation

Try a couple of things: 1. Uninstall Java using your Add/Remove Control panel. Then downld Java & save it to your computer. Then install Java from your computer (not over the net.)
2. Try deleting your LW preferences folder. Instructions & links to both Java & this can be found here: Fixes for Limewire
