incomplete files shrinking
I have been having connection probs through my proxy...it is getting sorted but in the meantime i have noticed that each time i open my limewire i am losing more and more of my downloads...
It is going from 99% complete to 0% complete!!...went to actual incomplete folder and as trues bob all my files are okb!!! What happened??? IS it due to the fact i am unable to connect to internet? DESPERATELY BEATING PROXY!

Go to LW's menu Tools>Options>Saving & change Days to keep incomplete files from 7 to a very large no. like 999.
Also, make sure you close LW down properly before shutting down your computer. Otherwise your incomplete preferences may become corrupted. Perhaps you should go to Tools>Options>Shutdown & tick close down immediately. Press apply.
