 dannysummers, if you don't have the winupdate files you may have other files. I had something like msupdate.exe. It may vary so it seems. Use the free virusscan (homecall) from trendmicro.com. It's good and it's free. Then: 1. Uninstall LimeWire and remoev every file containing limewire in it (Search your entire pc for it and remove it without doubt) 2. Locate the virus-files (with trendmicro) and a. Kill them if they are running b. Remove them 3. Reboot 4. Reinstall LimeWire If everything went ok the popping up should be over. If not, post a msg here.  . hope to be of some help... :Sgrtz  |
