I cant drag the songs from my Limewire tunes playlist into my iTuens library. Do i have to manually add the file the old way? Because that would sorta render the whole connectivity thing useless...

That's right, the LW playlist in iTunes is simply a playlist. The songs still exist in your LW downld folder. Methods of getting songs into iTunes here: How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) The intention of the playlist is I think really for DAAP, where you can share your playlists over a network. People can play the songs from the playlist but can't copy them.
