i got limewire and i love it. but there is one thing that bugs me. I did a recent virus scan and found 9 virus threats. all of them were Trojans. Could limewire have cuased this? considering that it is file sharing, is it possible to get these viruses really easy? If so, I dont wanna run limewire anymore due to these virus threats. if Limewire doesn't get these viruses, then which internet sites regularly put people at risk?
thanks for the help, and i hope limewire didn't cuase all of these viruese, I love the program and it is super fast with DSL < that part I love the best. thanks to anyone who replies and answers my questions |

It's not really Limewire that is causing this, but other people using Limwire to put viruses into the circulation of the files that are throughout the net. Best thing to do is everytime you download anything from Limewire, scan it with your antivirus. |
