avi files

I searched for videos files & downloaded a large avi file, when I play i there is no video, only audio. Are avi files only audio or am I opening it wrong?

its a video file alright.
one that has great quality, i might add.

u need the divx codec. or the xvid codec.

google it.

alternatively, u cudda just googled "avi" and im 100% sure something about codecs wudda showed
