Java Enviro-something
i downloaded 4.8.1 and tried to run it, it said i need a java environment something-or-other.
I looked in the forum and saw it suggested to get "Beta 4.9.1" same error occured - i went to Sun microsys. and tried to download java, my requirements(running speed + mem + Win98) all matched, but it didnt work.......what the hell do i do now??

Download Java 1.5 (take the JRE) & save it to your computer. Then install it. Don't install the java over the net.

Did that, (save to disk)
then double clicked on the JRE icon. It said "preparing install shield blah blah" but did nothing else limewire still not registering Java runtime enviro. what did i do wrong?? also, thanks for the help with all of this
