Well it sounds like the default audio program has changed. Change it to what program you'd prefer to be default & those icons. See the following but apply it to mp3's instead of video files: Setting Default video app

Personally I use iTunes which gives me the option of web lookup of song titles & ripping & burning & id3 tagging & it's free. As soon as I put a cd in, it looks up all the details automatically & puts them in instead of me manually typing them in. Quick & easy.
