Limewire asked me to set it as the 'central magnet handler' (?) so i did... and now it comes up everytime i click control alt delete. WHAT DO I DO?!

???... FYI:
your default magent handler is just which program handles the protocol and information. ( such as http:// or magnet:// ) example, if you clicked an http:// link, your default browser handles the request (such as firefox). if you clicked a magnet link your default magnet program handles the request. (such as limewire) if your situation is about seeing LimeWire.exe in your task manager, then this situation is totally different from magnets. but anyways, limewire originally sets itself as the default magnet handler upon installation. if some other program or you set it to use another program, then limewire will ask you if you want to change it back. (btw, it is recommened to leave limewire as the default magnet handler.) |
