I thought I had found an answer to my problem also... but now, without changing anything, L.W. now runs at turbo speed (it says the downloads are coming in at 100kb a sec.

I don't know what happened. Other p2p programs still will not work though so I am at a temporary loss as to how to proceed. I will look at the info you gave me and learn about proxies though, I hope that helps. I don't know if its the router or my internet service provider. There are so many possibilities I don't know what to think, ahhh but I am left with the systematic approach. That may solve the problems... in a day, a week, a month... Oh well, back to the drawing board.
