![]() I just rebuilt my Win2K machine. The old one had limewire on it and it ran fine. When I try to install 1.7 I get this weird message at the end of the isntall that it can't "create icons" so the installation fails. What is with that? brian@btoassociates.com |

![]() I had the same problem on NT. I think you need to be logged in as the administrator. I think that's a bug though; one should be able to install and use a program on an NT-based system without being the administrator. One should only need to be administrator when the installation involved modification to the security or you want the start menu item and desktop icon to be shared among all the users. |
