Hey, I've read a few of the other threads on viruses and limewire popping up over and over but i can't seem to understand how to fix the problem.

I already deleted all the files from the shared folders, but after a little while i check my shared folders and there are about 2,000 zip files there again .. and if i don't delete them and leave the computer on (like yestarday) there were over 6,000 files there.

I deleted them all, and uninstalled Limewire and any files i could find related to limewire but the files won't stop appearing up. Anyway to fix that problem? Would be a huge help, thanks.

P.s. if any gives instructions, can u give them keeping in mind im a computer illiterate person? Thanks.

I have been experiencing the same issues since October 19 and everytime Limewire is restarted more of those zipped folders appear. Everytime that I delete them they reappear. Now I cannot even delete them anymore because the "Explore" link to my Limewire is not working properly. So I am stuck with those annoying files on my computer, that slow down my computer tremendously. If anyone knows the solution for this problem please reply. This is becoming a serious issue.

well i would first try a virus and spyware scan, if that doesnt work, then getting extremely frustrated yell at the computer a little, think about hitting the computer but decide to ruin a expensive toy, then maybe reformat the hard drive, or possibley do a system restore
