LW won't start
 

i tried all the fixes mentioned here but couldn't get LW to start
i get this error message

I don't know what to suggest then. :p

Your version of Limewire is over 2 months old ... Have you been using it already, or did you get it more recently and if so from where?

does it realy matter what version of LW i use? i used 4.9.23Pro for a long time and it jsut stoped working then i tried every posible scneraio that was discused about on this forum but still no luck

Ez just uninstall and reinstal LimeWire. Your downloads will still be in LimeWire when u reinstall it

I was trying by my question to establish if you were a new user or an established one as your first post didn't make it clear. Your statement "i tried all the fixes mentioned here but couldn't get LW to start" does not either make it clear what you have tried.

I'm trying to help and my inclination, if SON456's suggestion doesn't help is to totally uninstall Limewire and all it's components.
Install fresh Java by downloading the installer rather than installing in line ... then re-install Limewire from www.limewire.com

I don't know if you have tried this ... If you have I'm not sure how to help. It would seem you would have some sort of problem possibly elsewhere on your computer.

i know it will because I unstall LimeWire everytime i run into a problem and it seems to work

While that cure works for some people in some cases, I'm afraid it doesn't work for everyone always.
