hi, i downloaded limewire on my PC and successfully connected and downloaded. my problem is that i have a wireless home network where i share music back and forth from my pc to my laptop and vice versa. but for some reason when i try to move a mp3 downloaded with limewire it gives me the error:

In plain english, it mean that one of the computer you shared is using it, so it protected until you tell the other computer to stop using it like closing down the player or LW.

nothing is open, that is the problem lol

which sharing? the ones between my computers? thats what i want to do why would i shut it down

your laptop (you claim that laptop and computer is sharing) possible using it even you didnt know if it is, it could be running in the background. just end the share and check if you can move the file

my laptop does not have limewire. my laptop's folders arent shared. its just my desktop's folders that can be accessed by my laptop.
