Searching produces nothing.

Im pretty sure this is on the wrong forum, but everytime i search for anything using LimeWire Basic, it comes up with nothing. Every single time for anything. Someone please help me.

here's a few things you need to post about your problem-
your OS, RAM, antivirus, firewall, router or not, home user or behind network?have you used limewire successfully before or is this a first time use problem?

are you able to connect - as in do you get little green bars in the status bar at lower left corner with a icon of the globe without a wall in front of it? ideally it should be 5 green bars with a blue globe which means you're connected properly.
have you tried configuring you search results? go to Tools---->Options---->Searching. select options which say show all results [for speed, ratings etc].
