![]() I used to use Limewire just fine. Recently, there was an issue with the computer that really pissed me off, so I formatted it, reinstalled Windows, and installed drivers. Everything works fine, with the exception of Limewire. When I run Limewire, the resolution seems to change from my native 1680x1050 to something much finer, probably 1920x[equivalent number]. When I attempt to close or switch out the the application, my computer freezes and my screen becomes scrambled (see image below). I think it's probably my video card, but then again, I don't, because nothing else, including high-end games such as F.E.A.R. or Counter-Strike: Source seem to not have errors after hours of gameplay. I also tried reinstalling after deleting all Limewire-related regkeys and folders left behind, even after uninstall. Here are system specifications: --Custom PC I built-- AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ 1024MB (512x2) PC3200 Corsair NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT PCIE with 81.98 drivers Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 SP2 Dell Display - 2005FPW on 1680x1050 ![]() |

![]() See these 1. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=51678 2. See The way to fix the Blank screen on startup There was a 600 x 800 res bug inadvertently introduced into LW 11-12 mths ago but this was eliminated fairly quickly. Sounds like video card settings such as those for 3D. Looks like you may need to keep switching it between each time you play the game & when you use LW. |
