I am running Windows 98 SE on a 6 year old computer ... Yesterday my computer required starting up in Safe mode. I ran System File Check and had to reinstall setupx.dll, not the problem ... not sure what else to describe or to try.

I tried using the Search option here and it doesn't seem to be working. I scanned several threads and I can't find anything to match my problem. Can anyone help?

Oh, and I tried reinstalling it over top of itself AND uninstalling and reinstalling.

I'm trying to think of what else I did already to try to make it work, or anything else I need to tell you. Hmmm ...
