Hey, all. I was just wondering if there was something one could download to force my computer to recoginse the gnutella ports. I can't seem to connect and I've tried everything. I can't configure my ports manually because my windows firewall is disabled, like completely. So I was just wondering if there was an executable that would make my comp open the gnutella ports.

Why can't you enable your Win firewall, then configure it to allow LW access?
http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml You can use manual port forwarding but to do that you have to know your modem/router brand & model number. *There is no magic quick fix. If you want this problem solved, it's going to take a bit of effort. |

Also see further advice here Connection problems? Check here first! The problem might be your modem/router & its internal firewall blocking ports.
