i have no trouble downloading files but when i go to look for them there not in ne folders....except the library but i wana put them on my mp3 and cant thru the library...my friend said it should go into shared but it doesnt and i dnt no where to look for them....is there anyway i can move them into a folder i can search in and make the downloads go there automatically?
please help???????

The default location is normally C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared
Unless you changed it.

To find the exact location, go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Saving & this will list the directory location.

For quick & easy access, go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you.

* You can make a shortcut of this folder & put it on your desktop if you'd prefer. But whatever you do, if you decided that you wanted to change the downld location, do NOT make the new downld location the desktop or root level of HDD or the program folder. Doing so would cause major problems & security risks & possible accidental erasure & heartbreak in the future.
