.asx files make me pound my head against the wall! Hi folks, I'm new to the forum and was compelled to join to see if anyone can help me solve my problem. I've downloaded .asx files that need to connect to a site to stream the video. The files won't play. For some reason my Windows Media Player gives me the same error for every file "Secure storage protection error. Restore your licenses from a previous backup and try again." I do not believe it to be a licensing issue. It's driving me crazy. I've tried this with all different types of content: news clips, trailers, porn (ha! =p), commercials and none of them will work. I just get the same old message. I cannot believe that everyone in the world of LimeWire is having the same problem, otherwise I wouldn't see that 50 people have downloaded the same file as me! Help! I'm going crazy! How do I play the .asx files? By the way, I am familiar with the basic concept of .asx, but not the technical. Thank you in advance. |
