I'm kind of a newbie to Limewire, I downloaded it a few months ago and really like the software for music sharing. I encountered some virus's through my email, learning the hard lesson not to clink links in email. Anyway, I stopped using limewire a bit. And, upgraded my antivirus!
THe next time I went to open it, the icon on the destop was unable to find the path for the file and it was removed from the programs on the start bar. It basically uninstalled itself, and left the complete/incomplete download folders.. I went to my HD where I saved the progams and ran the Win setup again and sucesfully installed it again (after downloading again). Now 3 days later, it has gone on vacation again and I will probably have to reload it again.. What is going on here? |

See http://www.gnutellaforums.com/download-upload-problems/55533-limewire-keeps-deleting.html
BTW LW does NOT have spyware or adware!!! Just that some utilities are not p2p friendly or are not good utilities in any case. |
