![]() I downloaded Limewire a few monthes ago and downloaded a few things. Everything went good. But then I downloaded this one thing, and now I can't access the folder where I saved my stuff! If I try to access it in any way, any way at all, I get an error message saying "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and need to close." Forcing me to close! I can't use Limewire anymore either! I even uninstalled it and re-installed it! When it's starting up and it says "Loading user interface..." It just closes without warning! ![]() No viruses or spyware are on my computer either. I scanned it with eAcceleration, the best virus/spyware catcher I know, and nothing comes up! Someone please assist! It's bugging the hell out of me that there's a folder I have no power over! ![]() |

![]() That's the problem though! I've tried searching it! But when ever I try to access the folder and the files inside in any way, the same error message pops up! Like search, I used the search option, typed in a word in a file in the folder, and the error message popped up, closing the search down! ![]() |

![]() Been encountering same problem after d'ling certain files, particularly, avi files. Since windows explorer keeps closing, I simply return to LW shared files folder and delete the file in question there. Problem solved. I originally noticed the problem as I was unable to view a video in the default player (played in fast forward only). So I would use windows explorer shared folder to select a different media player. Cant do that now that windows explorer closes before viewing. Again, simply deleting from LW folder (if that still works) should fix problem. Still looking for a better answer myself to that windows problem.......grrr! |
