HELP! I usually keep Limewire open most of the time as I am constantly downloading. I went to use it last night and, not only had the skin changed back to generic form - my library is empty and all of the current downloads/searches have disappeared. I tried re-installing but same problem - where did my Limewire go? I scanned with my anti-virus software but - nothing ???

I had that problem also. I would download my stuff and never could find it. What I ended up doing was first creating a folder on my desk top and I just named it "My videos" . When you click on something to download try clicking the right side of your mouse and some options will come up and it will say like "download" or "download as". I click onto the download as. I then pick what file I want them saved in which is the file I named "My videos". Then when the download is complete is should be in the folder on your desktop that you put it in. Don't know if this will help you but it has worked great for me.

Thank you however that is not the problem !
If you go into your options you can specify which folder to download stuff into.
I was told to delete my preferences folder which possibly fixed the problem. Now I just keep getting an error message which says Limewire could not load my old downloads ! And it seems to be encountering a lot of "internal errors".

Hi there, didn't you say that your music files had disappeared and your library was missing? Sorry, I must have misunderstood. Hope you can find someone to help you out

Sorry I just had a question for you. You said you reinstalled it? I did that to and I had to also go to add/remove did you try that and then uninstall? Don't know if that has much to do with it but thats what I did???

HI catbox, I did a little searching and I may of found a thread that might help. A few people had replied with some suggestions for your downloads and library gone. I went to the search and typed in downloads and library gone. Down the page is thread I think it was titled downloads gone. Maybe this thread will help out.
