Guess, you have to download LW again and install it; it will try to remove any previous version installed while installing itself. You can download it from here:
http://www.limewire.com/
Then you can go to START>Programs>Limewire>Uninstall.
Do not use the Add/ Remove Programs function of the Control Panel to remove LW.
By the way, any specific reason why you want to remove LW?? I'm just curious.

HELP!!!

Successfully installed LW. But because I made a mess of my music file I had to delete. Then I reinstalled. Again uninstalled. This time trying to install but it tells me I have an older version of LW I have deleted it from my control panel. But it still won't let me re-install. When I go to i-tunes and try to delete the LW box I can't PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi thanks for replying to my plea for help.

Eventually what I did was to uninstall itunes and that got rid of the LW. Then I started alllllllll over again.

Seems to be OK now. But no doubt will be calling on your expertise in the near future.
