I cant preview my downloads , such as Movies...
I can preview my songs but not the movies and its really important so I know which ones I should cancel and which ones I shouldnt, it wasnt like this before until I got my new computer, can anyone help? I'm using windows media player v10 to ywatch the movies btw... Thanks alot !

The WMP seems to have an issue with unrendered files and/or codecs.
You can try to download the free VLC player with built in codecs. It plays almost all files without problem.
To preview files you've started to download, you'll nee to go to the Incomplete folder located somewhere at C:\ Documents and Settings\Administrator<your computer name>\Incomplete and open them from there using the VLC player.

I installed that **** and now it runs all my video files and I cant seem to find a solution for it not to unless I uninstall it , how to do it thanks?

Setting Default video app. WMP is a rather crappy player ... people only use it because it comes with their system & they don't know any better.

Okay, since you seem not to be happy with a player that can play almost any file without problem, I guess you deserve the WMP.....
Go to any media file you do not want VLC to start. Right click on it and choose "Open with..." and then "Choose Program...".
From there you choose your elitist WMP......there will be a small square to mark so that your wonder-player will always open those file types when clicked....
